1 critically injured in Taylorsville crash

TAYLORSVILLE — One person was critically injured in a single-vehicle crash Monday night, Utah Highway Patrol officials said.

The driver crashed into a wall near eastbound I-215 at about 1400 W., according to UHP Lt. Nick Street.

Investigators with the major crash team were on scene Monday night and further details weren’t immediately released.

Two left lanes were closed as of 10:50 p.m. and the Utah Department of Transportation estimated the scene would be cleared by midnight.

Street said more details would be provided Tuesday morning.
