1 dead, 2 injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY — One person is dead and two others were injured after a three-car crash at 300 N. Redwood Road on Thursday, said Salt Lake City police.

The two other people involved in the crash were transported to the hospital with injuries that are not considered to be life threatening, police said.

Redwood Road will be closed for several hours from 300 N. to 500 N., SLCPD officials said on Twitter.

Further information, including the identities of those involved, was not released.
