SALT LAKE CITY — An Amber Alert which was issued Wednesday afternoon for an infant boy who was abducted in Salt Lake City was canceled Wednesday night, according to a tweet from the Department of Public Safety.
Davis County Sheriff’s Office said in a tweet that the baby boy had been found safe in Salt Lake County.
The infant, identified by police only as Baby Torres, was abducted from Salt Lake City, according to a news release from Utah authorities. Baby Torres was born on Dec. 20.
The Davis County Sheriff’s Office identified Maria Ann Torres, 36, in connection with the abduction.
