Have You Seen This? Jimmy Johns employee slays 'Greatest Showman' tune after restaurant closes

JIMMY JOHNS — The road to fame is not usually an easy one. While many celebrities now enjoy their millions of dollars and trips to exotic locations you’re not even allowed to know the names of unless you have a certain number in your bank account, they didn’t always live that way. Some had some pretty mundane and often terrible jobs before hitting the big time.

Rachel McAdams used to flip burgers at a McDonald’s, Johnny Depp sold pens, Brad Pitt tried to get people into a Los Angeles El Pollo Loco by wearing a chicken suit, President Barack Obama scooped ice cream at a Baskin Robbins and the Greatest Showman himself, Hugh Jackman, was a PE teacher.

Well, Jackman should look at this Jimmy Johns employee for his next musical because she is insanely talented.

This is Taylor Fussell and she works at a Jimmy Johns. Just like the rest of us, she’s putting in the work to make a paycheck, but unlike many of us, she has a talent that should carry her far beyond that sandwich shop.

Her coworker caught this video of her singing “Never Enough” from the film “The Greatest Showman.” When I started watching the video, I was waiting for her to start singing because it’s filmed from her back and you can’t see her face. I also didn’t think she was singing because all I could hear was the vocals from the song itself because it was so spot on. Turns out it was Fussell singing the whole time.

The song is incredibly difficult to sing. In fact, that actress who played the role of Jenny Lind — Rebecca Ferguson — is a talented singer but couldn’t hit those notes. So a professional singer from Utah, Loren Allred, stepped in to lend her voice to the film. Turns out Fussell possibly could have stepped in to take those duties as well.

I really was caught off guard by how beautiful her voice was as she sang to the empty dining room and day-old bread, but I was more surprised when I found out this video was 2 years old. Not only is it 2 years old, but it only has 50-thousand page views. Fussell is talented enough that this video should have blown up by now and we should be talking about how crazy it is that superstar Taylor Fussell use to make freaky fast sandwiches at Jimmy Johns.
