Northbound I-15 closed at Layton Parkway, UDOT says

LAYTON — Northbound I-15 closed Layton Parkway on Monday around 9:30 p.m. due to a medical incident, according to the Utah Department of Transportation.

UDOT has advised drivers to use an alternate route. Northbound travel is estimated to be closed for another three hours, according to an update on the department website at 10:44 p.m. Check the UDOT Traffic website for updates.

Utah Highway Patrol confirmed later that the medical incident was a suicide.
