SEC sues Idaho investment firm Yellowstone Partners LLC

Yellow Stone Partners LLC is being sued by the The Securities and Exchange Commision. Although this company is no longer functioning, the Commision claims that two officers of the company have been overbilling clients in the past.

On Monday in Idaho’s U.S. District Court  was filed a lawsuit against former CEO David Henry Hansen and investment adviser Cameron G. High. High has already reached a settlement with the SEC.

 It is suspected that High and Hansen stole more than $11.8 million from more than 120 client accounts.

Last year near the period of investigations by the FBI and SEC the company closed all its offices all around West Idaho,Wyoming and Utah.

Both Hansen’s lawyer and a layer representing Yellowstone Partners have declined to express any comment about the case.
